Do you remember the show Cheers and their theme song “Everybody Knows Your Name?”  Here’s a clip in case you aren’t familiar with it. This is the concept Fitzy Shades was built around.  While we are a result-driven, cutting edge MedSpa just like the big guys in town, we are small enough to provide personalized service with a welcoming feel.  We’re going to know your name and treat you as an individual, not a number.   Fitzy Shades MedSpa is also a champion of aesthetic equity for all skin types.  Our goal is provide universal services that every skin type and color can benefit from.  From young acne prone skin, to mature, aging skin, regardless of where you fall on the Fitzpatrick scale, we will have a service that can help you reveal your best self and regain your confidence. 

Meet Diane,

Founder of Fitzy Shades MedSpa

Diane Gibson started Fitzy Shades MedSpa in 2021 after 23 years in the nursing industry. While working as a nurse, Diane developed a strong passion for the aesthetic industry after seeing how cosmetic enhancements can empower people.

As a working mom and wife herself, she dabbled in many products and procedures trying to balance caring for her family, while remaining focused on looking and feeling her best.

After seeing others thrive from cosmetic enhancements and seeing the difference it made for her personally, she decided to bring her experience to the MedSpa world and Fitzy Shades was born.

Diane specializes in cosmetic injections, skin rejuvenation and non-surgical full body treatments. She is also a Professional Laser Technician and Laser Safety Officer, specializing in safe and effective laser treatments for skin of color. 

When she is not at Fitzy Shades, you’ll find Diane at home with her 3 children, her husband Val, and a furry family member named Diva. As a devout Christian, Diane enjoys any opportunity to enhance her clients aesthetically while encouraging to them to enhance their spiritual development where true beauty lies. While in her spare time, Diane enjoys music, dancing, shopping, daydreaming, spending time with family, and the outdoors!

Esteffanie Morales, CLT, ME

Esteffanie is a Certified Laser Technician and Medical Aesthetician.  She offers a variety of aesthetic skin and laser treatments by
providing a customized experience to meet each clients individual goals. Esteffani is bilingual, fluent in Spanish and English. 

 

Esteffanie lives in Irving TX with her husband and daughter. When she is out of the office you can find her working in her garden, cheering for her favorite futbol team, or hosting a house full of friends and family.

    Samantha Pigg , CLT, ME, LSO

    Samantha  is a Certified Professional Laser Technician and Medical Aesthetician.  She offers a variety of aesthetic skin and laser treatments and 
    provides a customized experience to meet each client’s individual goals. With 18 years in the beauty industry as a licensed cosmetologist, medically trained aesthetician and professional laser technician, her focus has always been the overall health of the skin.

     

     When she is out of the office you can find her spending time with her family and pursuing her degree in business management.

      Lana Cooper RN, BSN

      Lana is a Registered Nurse. She started her journey attending University of Michigan and Oklahoma State, earning a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She decided to continue her field in medicine and became a Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse. 

       She eventually decided to follow her passion for skincare and aesthetics, becoming an Advanced Certified Nurse Injector with both Allergan and Galderma. She now has over 10 years of experience with training focusing on facial rejuvenation artistry. Lana provides consultations, collaboration, and instruction in a professional manner, and offers her clients the highest level of confidence and trust. 

        Dr. Valentine Gibson 

        Co-Founder and Medical Director

        Dr Gibson is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from West Virginia University with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. Then he graduated from West Virginia University School of Medicine where he was elected to Alpha Omega Honor Society. He is currently the Chief of Anesthesia at Medical Center of Arlington.

        Dr Gibson is an active member on the board of RGW STEM Academy. He volunteers his time to host enriching workshops and provides learning experiences to stimulate and cultivate the abilities of students in the DFW Metroplex. He also participates in fundraisers to help equip the teachers and students with the necessary tools needed for endless opportunities.

        While Dr Gibson has supported his wife Diane in many of her business endeavors, serving as Medical Director for Fitzy Shades has been the most gratifying. He attributes his youthful appearance to dabbling in the skincare products on her side of the bathroom sink! When Dr Gibson is not working he enjoys spending quality time with family, working out, dining, and traveling.
