Areolase | Photofacial & IPL Therapy
Laser technology is quite literally changing the face of the medical aesthetics industry. There was a time when investing in high quality products was the only option if you wanted to change your skin. While those products are still important, incorporating laser services into your treatment plan can help you achieve high quality results in less time.
If your concerns go beyond surface skin issues and you’re struggling with things like angiomas, scarring, warts or even spider veins, lasers are also an effective tool to treat more complex conditions. Diane Gibson, RN and owner, carefully selects every piece of laser equipment used at Fitzy Shades. Safety is our number one priority. Next is results. With that said, all of our lasers deliver cutting edge laser treatments that are safe and effective for all skin tones, including skin of color.

Varicose Vein Treatments in Prosper
Aerolase gives us the ability to offer varicose vein treatments! Varciose veins, also known as spider veins which commonly appear on the legs and thighs, are one of the most common areas we are asked to treat.
The Aerolase delivers a pulse of laser energy, which causes the blood within the vein to coagulate and destroy the vessel. Your body will absorb the destroyed vessel over the course of a few weeks. After your body naturally eliminates it, your skin will look rejuvenated and youthful.
Unlike some of the other varicose vein treatment centers in Prosper, our service is non-invasive which means you enjoy great results WITHOUT downtime.
Aerolase for Hair Removal
The Aerolase uses a combination of heat and energy to destroy unwanted hair at the follicle level. Unlike some other hair removal methods, hair removal with the Aerolase is pain free and gentle on the skin surrounding the treatment site.
Most clients require a series of treatments spaced 3-4 weeks apart to see full results.
Photofacial IPL Therapy
The Fitzy Shades photofacial is another one of our favorites! We are proud to use the best equipment in the industry to deliver amazing results. Photofacial or IPL is a gentle, non-invasive treatment that uses pulsed light to improve and erase skin imperfections such as:
- Sun damage (brown spots)
- Facial Vessels
- Hair Reduction
- Age Spots
- Skin Tightening
How does IPL work?
Our photofacial device uses broad spectrum light that is filtered by frequency to treat specific areas. When the light is delivered at the surface it penetrates deep into the layers of your skin to reverse the conditions that are visible on the surface. At the same time, the frequencies used help slow down the aging process by triggering your body’s natural wound-healing response. This helps your skin to generate new cells and increase collagen production.
