As if a pain-free treatment without downtime wasn’t enough, Aerolase also stands out from other lasers because it’s inclusive. Many lasers can only be used on lighter skin tones. Aerolase can be used on a wide range of skin tones and types, including skin of color, after a skin assessment.

Laser treatment for every skin tone, done carefully

We treat every skin tone at Fitzy Shades. That doesn’t mean every laser is right for every skin tone, and we’ll always be honest about the difference.

Aerolase uses a very short pulse that limits heat build up in the skin, which is why we can use it across a wide range of skin tones, including skin of color, after a skin assessment. Lumecca IPL is excellent for sun damage and redness in lighter skin, but it isn’t recommended for very dark skin because the light can be absorbed by surrounding pigment.

If one device isn’t right for you, we’ll recommend one that is.

Spider Vein Treatment in Prosper

Aerolase gives us the ability to offer varicose vein treatments!  Varciose veins, also known as spider veins which commonly appear on the legs and thighs, are one of the most common areas we are asked to treat.

The Aerolase uses a combination of heat and energy to destroy unwanted hair at the follicle level.   Unlike some other hair removal methods, hair removal with the Aerolase is pain free and gentle on the skin surrounding the treatment site.    

Most clients require a series of treatments spaced 3-4 weeks apart to see full results. 

Lumecca IPL Therapy

Lumecca is best suited to light and medium skin tones.

The Fitzy Shades photofacial is another one of our favorites!  We are proud to use the best equipment in the industry to deliver amazing results. Lumecca IPL is a gentle, non-invasive treatment that uses pulsed light to improve and erase skin imperfections such as:

How does IPL work? 

Our photofacial device uses broad spectrum light that is filtered by frequency to treat specific areas.  When the light is delivered at the surface it penetrates deep into the layers of your skin to reverse the conditions that are visible on the surface. It depends on your concern and your skin. Aerolase can be used across a wide range of skin tones, while Lumecca IPL is best for lighter skin. We’ll recommend the safest effective option at your consultation.
Yes. Aerolase targets bacteria and inflammation behind active breakouts and can be paired with facials and peels.
Sometimes, carefully. Heat can make melasma worse, so we use gentle settings and pair laser with a strong home routine. IPL is usually not recommended for melasma.

How much does an Aerolase treatment cost?

Costs will depend on the area we’re treating. To get specific costs, please schedule a consultation.

The number of treatments you’ll need depend on the area we are treating and the severity of the condition we’re treating.  When you come in for a consultation we are happy to provide you with an estimate on the number of treatments you’ll need to achieve your desired results. 

Aerolase treatments take between 15 minutes to an hour depending on the size of the area we are treating.  

Most patients that have had laser treatments in the past report that Aerolase is much more gentle.   

You cannot receive an Aerolase treatment if you are pregnant or have:

  • Cancer
  • A sunburn or recent prolonged exposure to sun
  • Skin prone to formation of keloids

How much does Fitzy PP cost?

Cost will depend on area of treatment. The most common treatment areas are face, neck, arms, hands.

Clients generally need a series of treatments.  When you come in for your consultation we’ll evaluate your skin and determine a treatment that includes a specific number of treatments.  

IPL is a non-invasive treatment that is generally pain free. Clients will arrive 30 minutes before their scheduled treatment to have numbing cream applied to the treatment area, making the service very comfortable.   

Certain skin conditions may prevent you from being a candidate for the Fitzy photofacial. This includes:

  • Unprotected sun exposed skin 2 weeks prior to treatment
  • Fake tan
  • Accutane use in the last 6 months
  • Herpes 1 or 2 in the treatment area
  • Very dark skin

The following health conditions may prevent you from being a candidate for a photofacial:

  • Pregnancy
  • History of seizures
  • Active Infections

The use of photo sensitizing medications is also a disqualifying factor.

Teeth Whitening FAQs

How long do results last?

Results will vary depending on a number of factors, but in general, many clients enjoy their results for up to 2 years. There are several factors that can impact how long you enjoy your results. Those include:

  • How your teeth absorb stains
  • What you’re drinking (coffee, tea, red wine, etc.)
  • Your lifestyle choices (smoking)
  • If you’re using the at-home whitening pen

In general we recommend only getting your teeth whitened 2 to 4 times per year but please check with your dentist to make sure you’re doing what’s right for your individual dental needs.  

Yes, the process doesn’t adversely affect dental structures or fillings.   

Yes, but we can only whiten veneers back to their original color.
